Football overload...

It starts today. My good friend/co-best man is coming into town this evening to go to the GT/UVA game tomorrow. The debauchery will soon start. He'll leave Saturday but we're off to Athens to catch UGa/Colorado. Right now for the UGa game it's 84 & some thunderstorms, and for the UVa game it's 65 & clear at gametime.

Nothing really in the tropics. There is a potential Isaac off the African coast, but it'll turn out & recurve to sea. No big deal.

There is turmoil in the Middle East, Hungary, Thailand, etc. etc. What's new?

The HUGE NFL Monday night game, Atlanta v. New Orleans is coming up. Even Al Jazeera will be there, which worries me a little bit because why should the Arab nations care about a southern rivalry football game? It will be the grand reopening of the Superdome however, so it promises to be lots of drama. The last time the Saints played in there, it was 2004 (although 2005 was the 1st season ever the Saints did not lose in the Dome!).
