Here comes the weekend...

Plans:
Tonight: mow grass then hang out with South Carolina peeps.

Tomorrow:
Wake up in the early AM (~ 7) and run my quick & easy 12 miles (~ 1 hr 40 min);
Go visit the brand new Olympic museum, w/guests of honor Janet Evans, Shirley Franklin, Billy Payne & more...
Head to Centennial Olympic Park for the Trisha Yearwood Concert

Sunday:
Have 10-15 people over for dinner for a post-4th picnic (inside since it'll be roasting hot).

Random stuff:
People are picketing outside our office because some of the contractors are using non-Union carpenters. Isn't this a good thing? The work gets done cheaper & it's quality work b/c there's not as much job security!

There was an African wave that threatened to be the first Cape Verde-style hurricane but it's gone now & the tropics are very quiet at least for the next couple of days. I wonder if when things start up if it'll be really bad, or if the predictions were just too dire...
