Mardi Gras cancelled......for today
The parades tonight have been rescheduled due to upcoming storms rolling through southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. The watch in NOLA is in effect until 8 PM. As a result, Babylon is rescheduled for Sunday morning, and Muses is scheduled for 8:30 PM (or whenever they get around to it more like for "mardi gras time") tomorrow. Chaos is simply cancelled.
Also, residents of New Orleans that will be watching the Super Bowl are trying to figure out how to get it in HD, as the Fox affiliate doesn't offer an HD feed through cable or satellite. However, by going to this link and clicking on the link that says "Watch Super Bowl XLII in HD" on the bottom left, it tells you how to get HD channels through rabbit ears. Honestly it's not a bad idea to do even outside of the New Orleans area, as it's a backup if the cable is out, or if for some reason the cable company is not offering a particular over-the-air station in HD.
